Ever since i discovered them i have loooooved all their designs and treated myself to the goooorgeous girl stamps she does with my birthday pennies :). I used the girl relaxing a couple of cards down and have used another here. Isnt it just the most adorable image!! Love them all Dulcie and can't wait to get some DT goodies!!!!! Hooray :) lol Well that is enough of my blabbering on, look at the gorgeous card!!!The papers are once again MME Laundry Line - i really CANT get enough of these papers. They are simply delicious and SUPER glittery!! The blooms and button came as a lil freebie when i bought a stamp last week on Ebay, they started life out all cream but i coloured them to match the image and papers. The string has been coloured in the same way. I used my threaded water punch along the side of the image panel and finished the card off with a lot of sparkle - lil papermania gems and a TON of stickles - super sparkly indeed :)
Im gonna enter this card into the following challenges too:
Cute Card Thursday - Teen Terrors
Friday Sketchers - Sketch obviously lol

Wild Rose Studio November Challenge

As soon as my new Wild Rose Studio stamps came through the post i just knew i had to use this lil lady to make a card for the November Sketch Challenge that they have. She just seemed perfect to fit in the image shape drawn up :) I am soo gutted that i didnt see Dulcie at the NEC when i went - she was on my list of things places to go too and i STILL couldn't find her :( - good ol internet though - thanks to her FAB service i ordered one afternoon and they were with me the next morning - hows that for fantastic service - thank you sweetie!!! mwwwah x x
Loook - no distressed edges, all neat and perfectly sliced thanks to my new trimmer!! I told you i couldn't help it with the ol' distressed edges - my trimmer literally did them for me!! I do love it though and i am sure i am gonna still use them all the time but its nice for a change isnt it!!! I used the same papers as i did for my previous card - me Laundry Line - they are just scrummy!! Yuuuuuuum. The card i used for mounting is dcwv, the sentiment from craftwork cards which i mounted then trimmed round ( must get me one of those punches they fit in!!) and i used the fabby ms punch to add a bit of interest to the strip. The gems are from a wheel full of them that i have, and the roses were from the pound shop.

BIG Celebrations

Ok, well incase you didnt guess by the title of my post, the challenge this week over at Stampin for the Weekend is BIG CELEBRATIONS. It can be a big birthday, an engagment, a christening, anything that you consider to be a big celebration really. For some reason i chose a 90th birthday card. I have no idea why - i dont know anyone who is going to be 90 lol, I hate having to make cards for older people so i guess i just wanted to challenge myself a little more!We are sponsored once again this week by the looovely Heidi from Simon Says Stamp and she is giving away a $25 spree - woohoo!! Remember, we now pick our winner via Random Org, so everyone has an equal chance of winning and you can combine as many challenges as you want and still win :)
The image is one of the gorgeous new stamps from Lily of the Valley. Isnt it fab - perfect for ANY occasion ( well most lol ) I got it from NEC and just had to stamp this baby up straight away. The papers are the delicious MME Laundry Line, these papers are SERIOUSLY sparkly!!!! Absolutely gorgeous!!
It seems like ages since i got around to entering some challenges so im gonna go ahead and enter this lil beauty into:

Nice and simples :) Perfect now we are coming up to christmas, i dont always have time to add a ton of layers!!I told you it was a yummy sketch - yummy sketch deserves yummy stash too dont you think? Goorgeous glittery dcwv pocket full of posies papers on this one, the ribbon is from my stash ( i think it was used to wrap up some jimmy jams i got last christmas lol ) and the flowers were sent to me by the looovely Vicki a while ago - they are delish!!

I want to say thank you soo much to everyone that was kind enough to send me a card for my birthday :) It means soo much to me, they are all sat on my lil craft desk - i have no room to make anything now - im on the floor crafting atm!! But my desk is looking gorgeous!!

SFTW Festive Goody Box

Firstly i would like to say sorry for my absence - i didnt realise how long it had been since i posted!! We went away on a mini caravan holiday at the end of last week and previous to that with it being half term i spent most my time with the kiddies! Sooo sorry for that, but I am back and with a "tattered and torn" festive goody box - a challenge chosen by the luuuurvly Vicki - she doesnt ask us for much does she LOL. This week over at Stampin for the Weekend we have some gorgeous MME papers, roses and Shimmerz spray kindly donated by Vicki herself!! We have two fabulous guest designers this week, Gry-Heidi and Benedicte, thank you ladies for joining us at SFTW!
I would like to say this was easy for me - but that would be a big fat lie!! I have ( and i am not joking ) 4 bottoms for this box, the turorial i followed made he bottom too small :(, so i tried to adjust it and clearly was not paying any attention to what i was doing at all!!! LOL. Now it is done though, i am really pleased with it :), and as i already have lots of other bottoms i am tempted to make some lids and have another bash at it. Now my tattered and torn elements are the usual distressing around the edges. Hmmm look at all those yummy sweeties - i bought a tin for christmas on special offer last week and had to open them to actually put something in my box. I fear that was a bad idea - i wonder how many will be left by christmas LOL!The image is from Pink Cat Studio and is one of the fabulous digi images that are available!!! I love them to pieces. The papers used on the lid are colourful christmas and the bottom is from the DCWV Green Stack ( i made that many bottoms i ran out of matching papers LOL)

Another Squiggles and another challenge :o)

Yessss, another card using an adorable Squiggle Stamps image!! I can't help it! As soon as i got my guest DT pack in the post I had the urge to ink them!!! Especially the lil boys - I am sooo loving these - what with a lil 4 year old chappy myself that has just started school I am thinking I will need a stock of boy cards ready for when party season begins!!! The theme over at Creative Card Crew this week is to make a card for a baby or child - well i think this one fits the bill!!!
This card took fooooorrrreeeever to make, i was just about ready to throw it in the bin half way through, so took a break, came back to it and actually quite like the result!! I followed the sketch from A Spoonfull of Sugar - love this one - thank you Debby!! The image used on this card is Hey Dude! what a fab name for an equally fabby stamp!!! If you haven't already seen the new boy stamps you should go check them out!! The papers used on this card all come from a lil pad of papermania for men papers, im not sure if i like them or not, hmmm we will see - i have had them for AGES and this is the first time i have actually used them!! The papers are matted onto orange, brown and two different shades of blue dcwv textured card and distressed AGAIN - i can't help it - oooh and you can prob spot some string there too!! The sentiment is a rub on that i have had for aaages, it was free with a magazine yoonks ago.

Um, that all i think folks :) I will put the squiggle stamps away for a lil bit, i think i need to get some christmas ones done next - they wont be away for long though - seriously these are scrummy!!!

Squiggle Stamps Combo :)

Well, as the title of the post may well tell ya i managed to make a combo challenge card - yey :) I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday and over at Stamp Something they want to see some bling - well i have 5 lovely gems blinging away there for all to see :) - now he wouldn't be a rockstar without a bit of bling would he!!!The image is of course by the lovely squiggle stamps and can be found here - what a cutie - i am always struggling with images for boys cards so i was DELIGHTED when this lil cutie turned up in my guest dt pack - yippee!!! The papers are by Daisy Bucket from the Rock Star collection. I added some dcwv card and distressed all of the edges with my scissors again, so i am going to enter into this weeks Charisma Cardz challenge too - as they want to see distressing - oh boy i could enter this challenge with every card i make!!! hehe I mounted up the image and sentiment using 3d foam so there is a fair bit of dimension on the card.
